He then applies it to FINESSE Mentoring styles and what may work best for each group and provides tools to help the reader consider where to place people. I plan to implement the authors suggestions in my work with my peers using nurturing Finesse Mentoring given we have many new employees who fall into the “pondering” group.

The author then “brings it home” in the chapter Coordinate Experiments where he emphasizes two steps that allow workers to mentor each other while managers are free from people-managing roles so they can focus on growth and gain for all.

Finally, if there is one chapter in the book, I would recommend reading more than once, it is Chapter 25, “Affirm Spiritual Energies”. Give it a read, you will enjoy it and benefit immensely."
